Middle Tennessee Electric is looking for a Member Applications Supervisor to join our team. The position is located at our corporate office and reports directly to the Information Systems Manager. Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or related field.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in supporting enterprise systems used directly by members and employees in service to members.
Experience in requirements gathering, logical workflow planning and systematic problem solving.
Ability to perform detailed system analysis in NISC iVUE, Command Center and other related applications, including functional and technical analysis.
Must be knowledgeable in database concepts, data retrieval and manipulation for analysis to support data driven business decisions.
Must understand security technologies used to secure member and employee data.
Plans, directs, and supervises the work of assigned personnel.
Assists in defining budgetary requirements for the Member Applications department, including funds for ongoing software maintenance contracts, new development initiatives and vendor support needs.
Ensures availability of systems regarding adequate disc space, data usage and projected data growth; maintains licenses for users; and ensures vendor partners are available as needed.
In collaboration with the Information Technology team, ensures system data preservation through verified recovery processes and restoration procedures.
Ensures application security conforms to business and technical requirements.
Collaborates with other management partners to understand and define data mining requirements to enhance decision making for better service to our members.
