Your Responsibilities
A Sales Consultant with Best Insulation will be responsible for successfully developing and managing an insulation pipeline with both residential builders and general contractors within the construction industry, expanding Best Insulation's market presence in Texas.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess many of the following traits -
Sales Expertise: A proven track record in sales, ideally within the construction or building materials industry. The candidate should be skilled in prospecting, building relationships, presenting solutions and closing deals.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with different types of insulation materials, their properties, benefits and applications.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for articulating the features and benefits of multiple lines of insulation clearly to builders and potential clients.
Customer-Focused: The ability to understand customer needs and provide customized solutions that align with their project requirements demonstrates a candidate's commitment to customer satisfaction.
Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with builders and contractors is paramount to driving long-term success.
Technical Aptitude: While not necessarily an expert, a basic understanding of construction techniques, building codes, and energy efficiency standards can be advantageous.
Adaptability: Energy codes are dynamic and ever-evolving. A candidate who can adapt to changes in regulations while staying fluid with market trends will thrive.
Negotiation Skills: Being able to negotiate effectively to close deals and create mutually beneficial agreements is vital.
Goal-Oriented: The ideal candidate should be motivated by targets and have the determination to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
Time Management: Managing a pipeline of potential clients, preparing proposals and walking job sites daily requires strong organizational and time management skills. A missed phone call is a missed opportunity in the insulation industry.
Self-Motivation: While support and training will be provided, a self-driven candidate who takes the initiative and seeks opportunities for self-improvement will excel in this role.

Your Qualifications
Minimum of 18 years of age.
If operating a Company Vehicle, a valid driver’s license will be required.
Foundational understanding with computers including word processing, email communication and software navigation.

Flexible schedule may include evening and weekend hours as required by job demand.
Physical Requirements
Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted to load and unload various products. Work is performed at installation sites - may require ladder climbing, stooping, balancing, kneeling, crawling, bending, lifting, driving a car or truck, and sitting and standing for long periods of time.
