The Marketing Coordinator will coordinate day-to-day activities of Boston Bruins integrated marketing campaigns to drive revenue, brand awareness, and fan engagement. Work closely with internal departments, media partners, and vendors to develop, execute, and optimize all marketing plans through team and media partner assets and experiences. Assist with all other aspects of marketing, including the growth of the Boston Bruins brand.
Coordinate all aspects of Bruins integrated marketing campaigns including Retail, Ticket Sales, Community Relations, Boston Bruins Foundation, and Youth Hockey to drive revenue, brand awareness, and fan engagement.
Day-to-day campaign management includes, but is not limited to, working with key stakeholders, developing marketing plans, managing timelines, developing copy, working with designers to create collateral, executing in-game, and optimizing campaigns for maximum impact.Assist in the execution of Bruins game nights including delivery of marketing and sponsor messaging, turnstile giveaways, concourse management, photography and special promotions.
Serve as a liaison to all local media partners to execute trade deals and media buys, manage scheduling, develop copy points, assist with special events, maintain strong relationship, provide direction, and handle all general communication to maximize exposure and impact of all marketing initiatvies and promotions.
Work with vendors including external graphic designers and printers on all Boston Bruins graphic needs including sales collateral, promotional materials, signage, and other marketing assets.
Assist Marketing Director in the management of advertising and marketing budget to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.
Assist in the development of the Bruins brand including oversight of Brand guidelines, instructional use of the brand as well as implementation and cohesion of the brand’s use across all departments and Media Partners.
Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of experience. Concentration in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills, ability to easily transition between numerous projects simultaneously.
Background and understanding of retail marketing preferred. Extremely detail and task oriented, sports marketing knowledge, advertising knowledge, strong communication skills especially written, strong computer skills, strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, strong creativity skills, and the ability to work as part of a team and independently.
