Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of work experience in business development, strategy, or product marketing on a global consumer product.
Industry experience working in mobile, e-commerce, gaming, or digital entertainment
Experience driving negotiations and structuring deals.
Experience driving developer, telecommunication, or hardware partnerships.
Strong track record of creative problem solving and bias towards action.
Strong command of financial metrics and exceptional analytical skills, with a talent for using data to inform strategic negotiations, marketing, and business strategy.
Proven ability to effectively lead cross functional initiatives.

The mission of the Business Innovation team is to identify opportunities to build marketing programs and partnerships that will cultivate a broad and diverse base of Play buyers on the Android platform.
As the Partnerships Manager for Google Play Points in the U.S., you will help manage a new rewards program in the market. You will work closely with cross-functional partners locally and globally to support the program strategy, secure partner participation, and craft the plans to grow the program. You will be responsible for managing the program budget and day-to-day program activities, and will continuously strive to engage and retain Play’s highest value users.
You bring strategic thinking skills, creativity, and user focus to the role, and have a reputation as person who takes initiative, who can deliver end results. You possess sharp analytical abilities and understand how to use data not only to ask and answer the right questions, but also craft a program to drive systematic growth. You’re naturally collaborative, and have an impressive track record of influencing cross-functionally to land major projects.
Google Play offers music, movies, books, apps and games for devices, powered by the cloud. It syncs across devices and on the web. As part of the Android and Mobile team, Googlers working on Google Play do everything from engineering our backend systems, to shaping product strategy, to forming great content partnerships. They make it possible for people to do things like buy an ebook or song on their Android phone, then have it instantly available on their laptop. The Google Play team enhances the Android ecosystem by giving developers and partners a premium store where they can reach millions of users.
Open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory talks, build consensus with senior executives internal and external to Google, discuss and structure complex, strategic partnerships that are often first-of-its-kind with C-level stakeholders.
Identify, negotiate, and implement effective, and often complex, business agreements that drive results. Work closely with Legal to draft and manage partner contracts.
Oversee all aspects of partnership launches and in-life management, working closely with relevant cross-functional teams including product, engineering, strategy, marketing, finance, legal, and go-to-market. Ensure partners are delivering on commitments, report and measure overall success of partner activities.
Support Google Play Points strategy and operations, including goal-setting, financial modeling, prioritizing technical requirements, evaluating new opportunities, and presenting recommendations to management teams and diverse stakeholders.
Analyze major industry trends, provide insights and recommendations, and communicate these through executive level presentations and documentation.
