Central Bucks Family YMCA is looking for an engaging and responsible candidate to be our Adapted Aquatics Instructor and lead our children with disabilities swim group. Prior experience working with children with intellectual & developmental disabilities and/or experience in behavior management required; experience teaching youth swimming preferred. Experience teaching school-age adapted group swim lessons for beginner through advanced levels.
REQUIREMENTS: Swim instructor candidates must be at least 18 years old; YUSA swimming, WSI, or Swim Angel Fish certification preferred.
DAYS/HOURS NEEDED: Saturdays, 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM.
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Ability Programs, the Ability Programs Adapted Aquatics Group Lesson Instructor is responsible for leading program instruction for members and participants with disabilities in adapted aquatics programming.
