The Senior Marketing Manager – HDx Therapy role is responsible for managing a growth strategy for the HDx therapy across the globe. The selected high-performing individual will develop marketing plans and uncover new opportunities based on customer needs while working with other functional areas (e.g., R&D, regulatory, sales). Scope of responsibility ranges from existing product within our broader hemodialysis portfolio as well as our HDx portfolio and their line extensions to introduction of new product lines. Baxter's long history of creating and driving the establishment of dialysis standards of care worldwide is expanding now with the introduction of HDx Therapy - the first major modality improvement in over 30 years for hemodialysis patients.
Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Thinking - Solid ability to understand market trends, complex financial data, and customer needs to help define advanced planning and positioning strategies that create value and drive growth.
Customer Focus – A passion to represent Voice of Customer of patients and professionals to understand unmet market needs and cost-effective solutions. A proven track record of managing high profile customer relationships.
Therapy and Product Expertise – Strong ability to translate therapeutic goals and practices, along with technical product details, into easy to understand features and benefits in order to position with differentiated communication tools. Ability to design market research and then apply findings to overall education strategies.
Strong Team Player - High energy team player with a focus on meeting commitments and contributing to a high-performance culture, work in a multicultural matrix environment and build strong collaborative relationships with a diverse group of cross-functional team members including third party vendors, quality, regulatory, supply chain, customer service, transportation, industry partners, and sales.
Communication - Ability to develop and execute verbal and written communication plans, messaging, and brand campaigns across multiple stakeholders, organization levels, and functions.
Solid ability to understand market trends, financial data, and customer needs and assess competitive intelligence data.
Proven skills in the areas of messaging, branding, creative product/program development, portfolio marketing, education delivery, and product pricing
Strong results orientation with solid financial and business acumen
Experience in renal replacement therap(ies) or similar product/therapy marketing and sales is highly valued
Demonstrated successes in product management and therapy marketing strongly preferred.
Proven success in working with teams globally is strongly preferred.
Proven track record in successfully launching new products and managing projects to successful completion.
BS/BA degree require. MBA strongly preferred.
Eight to twelve years of experience in marketing; previous marketing experience within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred
Must be skilled in communication, managing in a matrix, negotiation and strong executive presence
Multilingual highly desired. Strong preference for exceptional Mandarin and English-speaking skills.
Cultural awareness required.
Immersion/experience living abroad (outside US) desirable.
Prior experience with education delivery programs and curricula to HCP's is highly valued
