The Role player/Actor shall play an witness roles during the NJS MJOC trial advocacy evolution. Role Players/Actors will need to be onboard NJS approximately 40 hours a week for one week for each evolution. A sample schedule is below. Role Players must learn the witness roles, be available in person and by telephone or email for interviews by students, and play the witness roles during practical sessions and a trial advocacy evolution. The right candidate will have a friendly, outgoing personality and will LOVE hamming it up!
Requirements:
- Ability to memorize specific lines,
- Ability to come to Newport RI and get on Naval installation since this is at the Naval Justice School training Naval JAGs/lawyers
- Previous acting or role player experience
- Learn witness role.
- Witness roles will be provided to the Role player prior to the beginning of each session.
- Role players must learn the facts in their role(s) prior to arrival at NJS so that they can act as the witness without the aid of notes. There are an average of 6 witness roles and an average of 6 trial advocacy groups per class.
