This position will assist with day-to-day operations. We are looking for someone who is motivated and assertive, that is willing to grow with the organization. A successful candidate will be organized and efficient with strong multi-tasking skills, represent Fernbrook in a professional manner related to appearance, reliability, flexible, energetic, and desire to grow.
Hours Available and Location:
Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. This position will be in the headquarters office (Owatonna, MN).
This Opportunity Includes:
80 hours vacation per year, 40 hours of sick time, 7 paid holidays
401K after 12 months and at least 1000 hours worked
$300 conference allowance and 3 paid days off for conferences per year

Answer phone calls- this involves greeting callers and directing them to the proper extension. It may also mean taking a message and forwarding the message to the pertinent staff member in a timely manner
Greet clients and staff
Data entry- updating client demographics and entering important information into state website
Scan and upload documents to electronic medical record
Miscellaneous office duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working in a medical or mental health office setting is a bonus, but any customer service oriented person will be considered
Ability to use a phone and transfer calls is important
Ability to multitask and attentive to detail
Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office programs
Strong interpersonal skills preferred
Must pass criminal background check based on agency and Department of Human Services
