Overview/Summary:
The Senior Coordinator of Conferences/Events within the Marketing team will provide support for the overall strategy and planning for the Firm's events and marketing functions, and the delivery of multiple types of events across the Firm. Events, both virtual and in-person, are a critical means for the Firm to engage with key external and internal stakeholders in the advancement of client relationships and enhancement of internal morale and collaboration. As such this role is a key component of the Firm's client, business development and marketing strategy. This position is based out of KBRA's New York office.
Key Job Requirements:
- Assist in planning and execution of all logistics for multi-day and standalone conferences, private events, sponsored conferences, and virtual programs (budget preparations, site selection, hotel contract negotiations, social media branded collateral, catering and speakers)
- Design, edit and execute e-mail marketing campaigns, conference and event emails;
- Create, update and manage conference websites;
- Maintain Event calendar and provide recommendations as which to/not to attend;
- Manage onsite conference and meeting schedules;
- Keep management teams informed and educated on Event best practice, including pre- and post-communications, measurement, etc.
- Prepare and manage materials for onsite use by conference planning team and attendees. (printing, event materials, giveaways);
- Run satisfaction and feedback survey for business stakeholders;
- Process all individual conference registrations and associated travel;
- Maintain companywide membership database;
- Billing reconciliation and general invoice handling of the Events department;
- Provide administrative support to Marketing Managers as needed;
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Events, or Hospitality with 3-5 years in related field.
- Required advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Solid understanding of marketing technology and social platforms. Knowledge of Marketo and Zoom Meetings/Webinars is a plus.
Salary Range:
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $87,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
