We are actively seeking qualified candidates for the following Short Notice Scheduler shift:
Sunday-Wednesday, 6:00 am - 4:00 pm

Provide tactical event and resource scheduling as one of the key members in a 24/7/365 service delivery support team.
Respond as needed to phone calls and day of emails from Customers and Realtime Captioners in a timely manner
Work to cover all day of, weekly, and monthly unassigned events (varies among service type)
Monitor captioner hours during the event assignment process
Email prep material and transcript requests to captioners before the end of each shift
Work with the Prescheduling team to ensure all events are staffed appropriately
Assist with weekly schedule release for our Internet and Financial service lines
Provide scheduling services during your shift for all VITAC service lines
Promptly respond to and resolve scheduling conflicts
Escalate all Realtime Captioning event issues to appropriate department personnel in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain, review and process schedule change requests
Provide excellent notes regarding scheduled events during your shift
Maintain customer and captioner filters through our scheduling software
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations.

This position requires employee to be on-site at VITAC's Greenwood Village, CO location
This is a critical, 24/7/365 position (including holidays)
Possible shift adjustments, including lunch breaks will be discussed during the interview
Working in a fast paced, rapid decision support environment
Experience providing direct external customer support (via phone and in person)
Experience providing direct internal employee support (via phone and in person)
High proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Positive Customer Service approach and attitude
At least 1 year in a call center based customer service role
Television Broadcasting technology knowledge
Education - 2 or 4 year degree or equivalent experience
2+ years in a call center based customer service role
Experience with staff or event scheduling systems
