Duties:
- Perform welding and fitting tasks according to blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures,
- Utilize various tools and equipment such as plasma cutters, forklifts.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and instructions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes standards
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure proper welds and structural integrity
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or similar role
- Proficient in various welding techniques (FLUX CORE,STICK)
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes
- Familiarity with standards and regulations related to welding and fitting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks and lift heavy objects
