You are a highly motivated & self-driven sales professional with excellent communication skills, business savvy, and able to quickly engage with customers and build relationships. You are passionate about the outdoors and helping retail clients build their business by selling the full range of YETI products. You thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing entrepreneurial environments. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales objectives and targets within a defined territory while communicating the YETI brand story, presenting product, and building strong trade channel relationships. This role reports to the Regional Sales Manager and additional responsibilities include:

  • Submitting accurate territory forecasts within defined timelines
  • Building an organized and disciplined territory coverage plan
  • Establishing strong relationships with customers across multiple trade channels
  • Preparing sales reports and customer reports via Salesforce.com
  • Attending sales meetings, training programs and trade shows as requested
  • Supporting National Accounts within defined territory
  • Providing timely communication and preeminent customer service
  • Managing territory expenses within a budget
  • Work effectively with customer service, marketing and operations departments as needed to attain broader territory strategies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience selling consumer goods through wholesale channel
  • Proven track record delivering on defined sales objectives is a must
  • Working experience using a proven sales methodology and process
  • Proven experience with accurate sales forecasting
  • Outdoor and sporting goods experience preferred but not required
  • Premium consumer products experience preferred
  • Self-starter, self-motivated with strong time management skills
  • Competitive, self-confident and growth oriented
  • Willingness to travel 75-90% of time on the road to customers
