As a Workday Technical Human Capital Management Consultant, you will be defining and establishing designs of all technical aspect of projects. Utilize your knowledge of business process operations, identify possible solutions and opportunities for improvement of current applications.
Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application with Internal and external applications: Human Capital Management, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and Payroll.
Design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB and supporting 3rd party coding.
Create detailed system interface specifications, field mapping, and system process designs.
Solid understanding of the business process, workflows and data requirements for each of Workday integration across Human Capital Management, Benefits, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Advanced Compensation.
Analyze new Workday releases against the existing Workday integrations, make changes as needed and perform regression testing of all integrations.
Work with vendors, IT or business partner to complete annually required assessments for each application including security, quality, GDPR, etc.
Act as technical focal point for all interactions with vendors/service provider on Workday integrations.
Identify, evaluate and document HR technology opportunities that enables automation, increase efficiency and enhance employee experience.
Develop, Maintain and present an HR Systems roadmap and work with business partners to align technology efforts for long-term roadmap planning.
Put together work plans, track project work.
Communicate status, solutions, and concerns. Disseminate information in a timely manner within the team.
Experiences & Attributes
5+ years with Workday Cloud enterprise application. This includes architecture, design, development, testing, deployment and support.
5 + years in Business and Systems integrations and implementing applications.
5 + years hands of experience with Workday and global implementation of Workday integration solutions.
At least 2 years of experience with EIBs/Integrations, Web Services, XLST, XML, Studio and BIRT.
Working knowledge of SOAP, REST, XML and XLST and JAVA.
Integration knowledge of Kronos Time Keeping, Identity Access Management (IDM), SAP Fieldglass, Cornerstone on Demand (Learning Management System), local Payroll providers, third party Benefit providers.
Workday Integration certification is Preferable.
Experience with People/HR Analytics.
Strong understanding of SaaS (Software as a Service) solution implementation and experience.
Agile development experience is a plus.
BA / BS in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or other engineering discipline preferred.
Solid communication (verbal and written) skills and attention to detail.
Sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills. Must be detailed oriented and able to work in a team setting.
