CACI’s Agile Solution Factory (ASF) is hiring a junior Cybersecurity Specialist to support the cyber security team for a key program in Ashburn, VA. Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the Best Practices in Agile Software Development for the Department of Defense.

You should have worked with or have a strong interest in agile software development practices and delivering deployable software in short sprints.
What you’ll get to do:
Work as an integral part of an Agile Scrum team, specializing in Cybersecurity, designing, developing and implementing custom software and database capabilities to support automation capabilities of assessment, verification, and validation of application development code in a DevSecOps pipeline.

Coordinating with Cybersecurity SMEs to identify requirements and process improvements
Researching automation innovations and provide recommendations
Tailoring automation to needs of the team and software tool life cycle
Identifying and improving defects in processes and procedures
Interpreting DISA STIG requirements
Employing best practices for design, development, and testing
Assisting cybersecurity assessors as required
Participating in agile team processes
Prior internship experience related to cybersecurity
Must be a U.S. Citizen with at least an interim DOD Secret clearance or higher
Proficiency with Scripting/Programming languages including Python, PowerShell, Bash
Understand and execute PEP compliance standards using Python 2.7 & 3.8
Understand how to implement API usage and develop new efficiencies for software like VersionOne & Tenable.SC
Working experience with automation tools including Jenkins and Ansible
Familiarity with Cybersecurity concepts and tools including DISA STIGs, SCAP, SCC Tool
Familiarity with data formats including JSON, XML, CSV, DOCX
Experience with Agile methods and principles
Experience with CI/CD fundamentals and best practices (supply chain, tools, factory application development).
Ability to innovate with cutting edge tools and technologies, creating new ways to automate cyber-security tasks
Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Windows products (IIS, SQL Server, Internet Explorer, Active Directory)
Familiarity with RHEL 6+ and RHEL tools (yum, encryption, VM management, LDAP, VG Management)
Familiarity with SQL
Familiarity with DBMS systems such as Oracle and SQL Server
Familiarity with web server applications such as Apache, JBoss, IIS, and Web Logic
Familiarity with Java JDK/JRE
Cloud implementation and code deployment (AWS micro services and EC2 instance)
Source control management experience (GIT, TFS)
Familiarity with VMWARE products and solutions
Familiarity with VLAN architecture and & basic network troubleshooting
Familiarity with authentication mechanisms and encryption standards
