The Department of Medicine, Internal Medicine Residency Training Program has an opening for a full-time, University Staff (unclassified) Residency Education Coordinator (Academic Services Professional) position.

The Department of Medicine, Internal Medicine Residency Training Program is seeking applications for a Residency Education Coordinator. This full-time, University Staff (unclassified) position will provide operational support to Director and Program Administrator and will be responsible for: managing the MedHub UCH evaluation and rotation schedules for residents and faculty; and overseeing resident applications for fellowship including letter preparation, ERAS management, and organization of mock interviews. This role will also be responsible for all aspects of the Physician Scientist Training Program (PSTP) intern recruitment, including ERAS management, coordination with internal medicine and subspecialty programs on interview days and creating individual subspecialty interview schedules for the PSTP day. The Residency Education Coordinator will manage compliance of all GME, ACGME and Program requirements for residents. This position will oversee the administration of resident subspecialty clinics for the Health Equity Pathway, provide front desk reception, develop general correspondence, manage office supplies and travel expenses, track residency verification and request completion, retention of residency records and perform other duties as assigned.

Salary and Benefits:
The hiring salary for this position has been established at $34,861 - $50,548 and is commensurate with skills and experience. This position is eligible for overtime compensation.

A bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
Experience working with residents, staff, and faculty, within a higher education and/or academic medical environment.
Experience utilizing Microsoft Word to develop, edit and update reports, letters and correspondence.
Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel to revise and maintain spreadsheets for reporting and tracking purposes.
Competencies/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to interpret complex rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Experience that demonstrates strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to establish rapport with persons of diverse backgrounds.
Must possess a professional demeanor and have experience that demonstrates problem solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will be detail oriented, self-motivated, a fast learner and possess excellent time management, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
