As the next Senior Solgar® Brand Manager you will be leading the day-to-day management, growth and profitability of the domestic business while partnering with senior management to ensure the long-term strategic development of the franchise.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and execute annual Marketing plans with emphasis on building brand velocity and market share in the absolute, in targeted key categories and in identified strategic retail partners.
Provide direction, guidance and a clear strategy to ensure that brand investment is effectively supporting strategic objectives that make a difference to the bottom line.
Collaborate with senior management in development of “next generation” strategy to re-engineer and strengthen domestic brand direction and positioning to address a more broadly defined “natural” consumer market.
Identify and expand “core business” through complimentary and high consumption product/product lines that capture a new and younger customer base.
Work in conjunction with creative resources in development, refinement and roll-out of revamped brand visual identity and image revitalization.
Lead concept meetings and manage the concept process to ensure all marketing materials, web site and digital marketing elements have a consistent brand tone for Solgar®
which establishes and results in the evolution of a consistent and leverage brand image.
Develop programs to enhance the customer (both trade and consumer) experience at all possible touch points.
Manage out of house media agency for creation and execution of annual media plan. Qualifications
Minimum pf 5 years of related experience required
Natural Products Industry experience strongly preferred
Working knowledge of digital and modern technology that includes social media
Experience in digital marketing, managing creative teams and agencies, managing advertising agency relationships, planning, execution, and analysis of marketing programs
Significant experience in production, vendor management, media analysis
Experience in leading cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred
Must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
Creative thinker and problem solver
Excellent ability to provide creative direction and feedback
Strong leadership capabilities; ability to manage, motivate, and collaborate
Strong management and organizational skills
Computer Proficiency Skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
