We’re hiring a Global Compensation Analyst to work in Troy, MI (relocation offered within the USA).

In this role as a Global Compensation Analyst, you’ll serve as a key resource for all compensation-related matters supporting the Global Total Rewards team at Aptiv. You’ll support the design, administration, and delivery of all compensation programs to ensure competitive positioning in order to attract and retain top talent. Responsibilities will include job evaluation, market pricing, survey administration, stock plan administration, compensation reporting and analysis, and input and participation in other compensation program designs and projects as required.

Role and Responsibilities:
Conducts and participates in compensation surveys to ensure access to relevant market data for all benchmark positions.

Contributes to the administration of the merit and incentive programs to ensure accurate pay calculations for payroll processing.

Supports the Total Rewards team and HR business partners in evaluating positions, ensuring updated job descriptions for all identified positions.

Conduct market pricing for executive and non-executive jobs and provide compensation recommendations for offers / promotions / transfers in accordance with appropriate compensation guidelines and policy.

Responsible for the maintenance and integrity of data housed in compensation-specific databases and systems.

Formulate recommendations regarding FLSA classification; performs audits and analysis of compensation data to ensure Aptiv is compliant with state and federal regulations and consistent in administration of compensation policies and practices.

Provides market data analysis, training, support and guidance during large global compensation initiatives of the Total Rewards team.

Designs and produces standard and ad hoc reports for use in management decision making.

Identifies and analyzes business problems and devises solutions to the problems.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or Economics

5 + years of compensation experience in surveys, market pricing, job evaluation.

1 + year experience with HRIS systems.Workday experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
Stock plan administration experience a plus.

World at Work CCP certification a plus.

Requires strong analytical and computational skills and must have extremely high attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience with Microsoft Access a plus.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
