We are an employee owned (ESOP) company seeking an experienced: Manufacturing Engineer


This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Analyzes customer engineering design documents to establish manufacturing methods and processes
  • Review and create accurate bills of materials, including all specifications for use in MRP/ERP system
  • Select equipment required for manufacturing plan sequences
  • Design new dies, tools and fixtures for manufacturing plan sequences
  • Create manufacturing plan complete for each component and assemblies
  • Create drawings in CAD system to support manufacturing
  • Support manufacturing departments on shop floor with all technical issues for new and existing products
  • Investigate production defects and provide cause and corrective action to prevent recurrence
  • Recommend and introduce process improvement and cost savings measures
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to provide RFQ manufacturing plan estimations

Minimum Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in manufacturing aerospace environment, 4-year degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent.

Additional Skills

  • Six Sigma and/or lean manufacturing methods knowledge
  • Knowledge of multiple CAD systems such as Autocad and CATIA V5
  • Project management skills
  • Working knowledge of aerospace specifications, quality codes and standards
  • Knowledge of manufacturing with various types of metal products (Aluminum, Steel, Titanium, INCO 718, etc.)
  • Metal forming experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of FEA software use (static loading, fatigue analysis) is a plus
