Responsibilities:
- Coordinate diagnosis-specific programming in senior living communities

Implement wellness programs and services for identified residents

Provide general oversight of all wellness activities and equipment in wellness center

Schedule individual sessions with residents, coordinating with other activities to meet client expectations

Monitor and accurately record resident participation in designated billing system

Lead exercise classes for residents based on input from the Director of Clinical Services and Wellness Programming, Area Rehab Director, and Life Enrichment for the community.

Create and present key performance indicators to EMW leadership and senior living communities.

Supports community operations to ensure the highest levels of resident experience and satisfaction.

Interact with residents and community staff in a positive manner.

Networks and creates relationships within the assisted living and long-term care industry.

Ensures that company standards and policies are well-maintained.

Complies with HIPAA & PHI guidelines and always protects

Aligns his/herself with the company's vision for service quality and value

Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent); Bachelor’s degree in science or related health care field preferred, including those enrolled in therapy academic programs

Experience as a Recreational Therapist, Music Therapist, Certified Nursing Assistant, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Athletic Trainer, Social Worker or three years in a healthcare and/or senior living environment preferred, but not required.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required along with the heart and passion to work with older adults while providing the best care

Must have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations and be flexible.

Proficiency in Internet browsers (e.g. Explorer, Chrome, Firefox), as well as Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Excel, Word, and Publisher applications
