Job Description:
VIBE Recruiting, Arizona's premier recruiting agency, is currently sourcing for a proficient Plumbing Estimator on behalf of our confidential client. This leading commercial plumbing company is seeking a skilled individual to join their team. As the Plumbing Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in all phases of the estimating and bidding process, including pre-construction services and performing estimate takeoffs. The company specializes in commercial plumbing projects of all sizes across various industries such as Hospitality, Multi-Family, Tenant Improvements, JOC, and Design/Build.
Responsibilities:
- Review bid documents, attend pre-bid meetings, and communicate with clients.
- Conduct quantity and material takeoffs, considering necessary equipment and other bid requirements.
- Utilize QuoteSoft Estimating Software to generate accurate estimates.
- Input estimating figures into the bid system.
- Prepare project estimates, develop project cost summaries, and present recommendations to General Contractor Pre-Construction managers and Senior Managers.
- Analyze plan designs to create accurate estimates and bids.
- Maintain organized bid data for future reference and historical data retention.
- Conduct review meetings with Senior Management before submission to clients.
- Create preliminary bid lists.
- Foster effective communication and maintain positive relationships with peers, clients, and vendors.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Commercial Plumbing project estimating or a related field.
- Experience in Commercial Plumbing is a plus.
- Hardworking and dependable with a team player mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in QuoteSoft Estimating Software.
- Experience with Foundation Accounting Software is preferred but not required.
