What You’ll Get to Do:
As a CACI-WGI (The Wexford Group International) Logistics Coordinator, you will coordinate and execute logistics, property management and training needs in support of US AFRICOM and the CACI Program Management Office. You will orchestrate and support actions to build, maintain, and enhance AFRICOM’s logistics execution and Program support requirements to improve logistical infrastructure and networks. Your coordination efforts will enable a rapid pivot from steady-state environment to contingency response operations.
More About the Role:
You will provide support to missions and operations. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with AFRICOM component commands and other strategic and operational partners to identify and document courses of actions in order to develop the logistics strategy, mitigate gaps and seams to logistically set the theater, and increase logistics capability throughout the AFRICOM AOR.
You may coordinate logistic-focused activities and support the deployment of personnel on to the continent in support of AFRICOM projects as well as detail and analyze current logistics capabilities, logistics challenges, risks affecting the AFRICOM AOR, and planned future logistics capabilities.
As the Logistics Coordinator you will advise the Program Manager and PMO on contractual logistics matters.
You will be responsible for developing and supervising the property accountability for the program to include management of Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE), Contractor Acquired Property and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Ensures 100% accountability of government property.
Coordinates and tracks equipment, property, and supply shipments.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Masters degree and 10 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience, or 15 years of relevant work experience, desired
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Current Secret Security Clearance.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
5-10 years of logistics staff experience at the battalion level or higher including 5 years of joint, service, or COCOM level.
2 years of experience supporting actions in the AFRICOM AOR 5 years of staff experience at the battalion level or higher.
