Description of Duties/Essential Functions
Under direction of the Office Administrator III, monitors and updates the Youth 360 database, ensuring correct data entry for appropriate time awards, time revocations and targeted release dates; performs technical office support functions including calculation education good conduct credits and earned good conduct credits, encompassing a knowledge of applicable statutes, appellate mandates and how increments of time are awarded; assists in regulating, monitoring and processing information regarding sentence calculations; responds to inquires either in writing or by phone from officials in regards to sentence calculations; keyboards a variety of correspondence. Coordinates court writs, medical furlough and directs movement of youth and files.
Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to two years of secretarial/business college, or completion of high school and two years of related office experience, or two years of independent business experience. Requires extensive knowledge of office practices, procedures and programs; requires extensive knowledge of composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation; requires extensive knowledge of basic mathematics and logic of computer programs/language. Requires ability to keyboard accurately at 30 words per minute.
Conditions of Employment: Requires the ability to pass the IDOC/IDJJ background check.

Anticipated Starting Salary: $3,098/month; $37,176/year
Current bargaining unit employees – Contractual language applies
Full bargaining unit range: $37,176/year - $51,432/year

WORK HOURS: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday - Friday/Days Off Saturday and Sunday
