Working under the supervision of a Principal Investigator and following established policies and procedures, provides assistance on clinical research studies in a highly productive research group within the Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse at McLean Hospital under the direction of Roger D. Weiss, M.D. May be responsible for the following activities: recruiting and evaluating patients for studies; collecting and organizing patient data; scheduling patients for study visits; performing clinical tests such as phlebotomy, EKG’s, etc; maintaining and updating data generated by the study.

BS OR BA required.
Must have at least one year of directly related clinical research experience (which can include undergraduate research experience).
Relevant course or project work preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are required for working with the study participants.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of clinical research protocols.
- Knowledge of computer programs, databases, etc.
- Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize a variety of tasks.
- Careful attention to detail.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism and respect for subject’s rights and individual needs.
