Job Overview:
The job requires working with an autistic female in her late 30s who independently uses an electric wheelchair, getting her out and engaged with the community. She loves window shopping at the mall, visiting the library, and bowling with friends. She will need transportation for several therapy appointments throughout the week. The family and other staff will handle all feeding, dressing, and transfers. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide transportation and individualized support to this individual with various needs in a home and community setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care while promoting independence and dignity.
Starting 6-16 hours a week, we are available to work with this client. More hours will be available over time if you are interested.
Responsibilities:
· Driving minivan (ramp accessible) provided by family
· Engage in social and recreational activities to promote socialization and overall well-being of the client
Requirements:
· High school diploma
· Valid Driver’s License
· Background check

· CNA
· CMT
· College Degree
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
