What Does a Digital Marketing Coordinator Do?

The Digital Marketing Coordinator plans, executes, and optimizes campaigns in direct response channels including email, digital advertising, SEO/SEM to deliver business objectives. They should have and effective comprehension of modern marketing tools and strategies and to be comfortable with data analysis. To succeed in this role, they must be self-motivated and enthusiastic about email marketing, analytics, and driving sales.

Develop, implement and manage effective and measurable social media campaigns that align with and strengthen the overall digital strategy
Manage all social media channels/outlets by maintaining a professional image and tone consistent with company culture and brand requirements
Stay up to date on social media and online marketing trends, best practices and methods, make recommendations to the Marketing Team
Develop compelling content for digital ad campaigns, newsletters, and websites that follows SEO guidelines and best practices whenever applicable
Monitor SEM performance to identify keyword opportunities and partners with tech and marketing teams to prioritize improvements
Assist in developing paid search campaigns with a focus on continuous improvement
Collaborate and communicate regularly with management, team members and sales staff to create optimized brand experiences
Stay abreast of digital technology and marketing trends
Develop and execute email campaigns that drive revenue growth through retention, cross-sell and up-sell
Manage the creation, scheduling and deployment of all email campaigns based on logistics, clicks, new customers, orders entered, etc.
Create messaging (emails, ad copy, newsletter copy, web copy, survey forms, etc.) and monitor website copy to support current campaigns and strategic priorities
Analyze and communicate campaign results to develop internal and external best practices
Collaborate with departments across the organization to support member communication
Special projects as business dictates
Manages push notification channels to drive customer engagement and topline sales
Completes audience, creative and tactic analysis to identify optimization opportunities to drive conversion

2 + years of social media and digital marketing experience
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Advertising or Marketing)
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to manage projects from conception to completion
Ability to effectively work in a team environment under tight deadlines and manage projects independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
Solid knowledge of all facets of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
Solid knowledge of and experience with various measurement, insight, automation, and delivery programs such as Facebook Insights, Cision, Sprout Social, Google Adwords and Analytics and Display Network, Survey Monkey, Constant Contact, etc.
Intermediate knowledge of SEO best practices and tools such as Moz, SEM Rush, Google Keyword Planner, etc.
Creative thinking/writing skills
Solid research and analytic skills

Strong Preference For:
Cumulative GPA > 3.15
Google Analytics certification
Google AdWords certification
Facebook Blueprint certification
AS400 data management system experience; CRM database experience.
Advanced/fluent skill levels of Spanish, Portuguese, and/or French language are always a plus.
