Formation PR + Brand is seeking an enthusiastic marketing communications professional who is eager to step into the fast-paced world of marketing and PR with an established, full-service marketing agency in downtown Hendersonville, NC. The Marketing Account Coordinator will hold the unique position of bridging the needs of our clients with the skills and expertise of our team in order to accomplish mutually determined goals. In short, you’ll represent the best of our agency and our clients at all times.

The Marketing Account Coordinator routinely interfaces with clients to confirm direction and field requests for their marketing, PR or branding campaigns. Based on this insight and direction, the Marketing Account Coordinator will work with our internal teams to implement and ultimately exceed client goals. This role will be an integral part of our dynamic team to drive delivery of outstanding projects for our clients.

Exceptional communication skills are a must, along with strong time-management practices, and a thorough understanding of budget and strategic marketing approaches. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be skilled at applying an anthropological approach to client needs and audience demographics, while also utilizing a comprehensive set of marketing tools to meet client and agency goals. You absolutely must have a talent for juggling multiple accounts, and working across teams (both internal and external) to complete projects and tasks on time and budget.

As a Formation Marketing Account Coordinator, you will:
Understand client marketing and communication plans and steps needed to accomplish goals
Maintain positive client relations; often serving as the liaison for assigned accounts and projects
Assist in brainstorming for projects and client accounts
Manage work plans, timelines, and budgets for client accounts
Assist in managing vendor relationships
Provide writing, copyediting, and proofreading services for both print and digital content
Identify and coordinate Formation and client resources needed to accomplish plans
Ensure clear communication between the client and Formation team/leadership, utilizing tools such as our project management software, status reports, and editorial calendars, and participating in project/status meetings
Ability to analyze and synthesize market research data; market research background is a plus
Requirements
2-4+ years experience as an account coordinator or similar role within a marketing or PR firm
Technical research and writing capability
Thorough understanding of traditional and digital media
Proven relationship skills
Strong client management and communication skills, with the ability to be highly responsive, detailed and professional in written and oral communications
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team environment
Proficiency in planning, strategy, organizing, time management, implementation and accountability
