The Ambulatory Clinical Support Unit is searching for LPNs to add to our team who are looking to expand their skills by supporting the St. Luke’s clinics in the Treasure Valley.
The Credentialed Medical Assistant 1, is responsible for assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider and/or physician.
Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.
Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. Sterilizes, cleans, and performs checks on medical equipment.
Provides technical, clinical, and clerical support to provider and/or physician.
Performs medical procedures as outlined by provider and/or physician.
Processes prescription medication for refill under the supervision of a licensed independent provider (LIP).
Assists physicians in patient exams and office procedures. Prepares basic laboratory tests on premises and prepares laboratory specimens.
Enters diagnostic or medication orders under the direction of a licensed independent provider (LIP).
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant-
NCCT NAHP AMT
AAMA AMCA NHA
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification
