Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment used in the manufacturing and packaging of extruded and injection molded plastic products.
Perform trouble shooting and repair on a wide variety of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment.
Requirements
\*Ability to understand and adhere to all department and plant standard operating procedures pertaining to maintenance and safety.
\*Experience with industrial equipment and manufacturing automation is necessary.
(AC/DC motors, PLC controls, low voltage, high voltage, single/three phase.
\*Assist operators and employees with setup and operational issues. Makes adjustments to machinery to correct minor problems with product aesthetics, quality or operational efficiency of equipment.
\*Repair mechanical issues such as replacing stripped bolts, broken belts, replaces motors, gear boxes, bearing, and drives.
\*Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in various machinery.
\*Develop, fabricate and install various changes to machinery to improve operational performance or correct operational deficiencies.
\*Must have basic knowledge of the following: electrical, electronics, mechanics, lubrication, and industrial control systems.
\*Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English.
\*Must have general computer skills.
\*Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
\*Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
