Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee recruiting and retention efforts within Human Resources for a multi-state organization. The position will partner with leadership to design, develop and execute recruitment and retention strategies to acquire and retain top talent while ensuring compliance with current laws, regulations and company policies.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of recruitment including providing guidance to hiring managers on recruitment, on-boarding and retention-related matters.

Collaborate with leadership to develop creative sourcing strategies based on key staffing initiatives, goals, and business strategy

Develop and execute best-in-class practices for end-to-end candidate experience, from screening to onboarding and promote and protect Koorsen’s employment brand

Oversee ATS administration; drive effectiveness of ATS usage across teams and hiring management

Research, develop and maintain a broad range of external networks, source new recruiting avenues, build partnerships and oversee third-party vendor relationships

Assess, recommend, develop, and implement talent acquisition processes and tools that help standardize and automate processes and create organizational efficiency.

Collaborate with hiring managers to develop creative sourcing strategies using multiple recruiting sources for hard to fill positions and to increase candidate

Identify trends and make recommendations on staying ahead of the competition in the attraction of top talent.

Oversee full-life cycle recruiting process across all business units (including sourcing, screening, assessing, facilitating interviews and leading the final offer and negotiation process.

Regularly follow up with respective hiring managers and candidates to provide feedback and progress of on recruiting efforts.

Develop process and tools to analyze recruitment activity and performance metrics and report on progress to business leadership on a regular basis.

Conduct job analysis’ and create job descriptions for new positions and/or modify existing positions based on business needs.

Partner with leaders within the business to create and implement various employee retention and succession planning initiatives

Ensure recruitment and hiring processes and practices are in full compliance with all federal, state, and or local laws to include background checks and drug screenings.

Understands and follows the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) mandate of compliance with Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity (EE) regulations.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field or combination of education and experience.

5+ years of progressive recruitment/sourcing experience.

Experience sourcing talent at multiple levels.

Experience utilizing an ATS or other cloud based recruiting solutions.

Experience developing and utilizing behavioral based interviewing techniques.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

Must possess required knowledge and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.

Clear understanding of the end to end recruitment lifecycle processes.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to build relationships and network to support recruiting strategies

Effective strategic thinking with strong analytical skills

Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Demonstrated proficiency in the use of the internet and social media
