This position is located in La Mesa, CA, San Diego County.
8 hour shifts;. per diem position to work variable shifts; weekends as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
Satisfactory completion of an accredited EKG training program (ROP or equivalent) in EKG and arrhythmia recognition and with documented clinical hours performed in EKG modality.
EKG certificate of completion
Knowledge and understanding of Cardiac arrhythmias
Ability to perform stress tests, holter monitor hook up and scan
Event recorder hook up
Basic computer knowledge
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
One or more years of EKG Tech experience
The Cardiology Tech – non-invasive will triage patient load, communicate with doctors, nurses, patients and family. Perform quality exams and manage exams performed in the MUSE system.
