This position manages the local store marketing in assigned territory. Territory may include regions in Florida and Georgia. This position will manage the regional calendar, including reporting for all test and promotional products as well as supervises all public and community relation programs for assigned territory. This position is field based with in-office time required as well as out of state travel. The position reports to the Brand Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Monitor trends and report findings to senior management including competitor pricing/promotions, product sales mix, sales and transactions
Work with agency partners to develop, execute and manage Social Media calendar
Manage Pollo Rewards loyalty platform including push messaging, rewards, gamification, messaging, etc.
Manage Mobil App maintenance
Manage on-line ordering program and ensure proper implementation of program at the field level
Develop and maintain plans and timelines for all email, SMS and social deployment including growth initiatives for My Pollo Rewards, reporting of traffic and usage of site/offers and managing SMS keywords
Develop and execute sponsorships, promotions and LSM to build brand awareness/sales at restaurants within assigned territory
Communicate promotions, special events and other local marketing opportunities to all partners
Attend networking and community events, stay active within the Chamber of Commerce within assigned territory
Tour restaurants at least twice a month; ensure marketing materials are properly displayed and LSM programs are properly executed
Develop/execute measurable Local Store Marketing programs
Secure and staff sampling opportunities within territory
Supervise, coordinate and coach brand ambassadors/reps at on/off site events
Manage local store budget for assigned territory
Execute new store openings and remodel plans as needed
Serve as media spokesperson when needed
On a frequent basis will interface with department heads, regional directors, district and restaurant managers, agency partners, community partners, and brand ambassadors.
Reports directly to the Brand Manager.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal communication skills a must
Commitment to work in a team environment with other departments
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Executive Viewer and PowerPoint
Graphic Artist ability preferred
Four-year degree preferred, work experience may substitute for degree
Motivated Individual with positive, up-beat attitude
Must be flexible and able to work some nights and weekends
Must be able to travel in and out of state via air and land
Must rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Ability to prioritize and exercise good judgment
Restaurant experience preferred, but not required
- Minimum 5 years Marketing/Communications experience
Must be able to work nights and weekends
Familiarity with restaurant and marketing operations desired
Approximately 60% travel required. Must be able to work in a mobile capacity
Must be able to maneuver and lift promotional equipment upwards to 30 pounds
Must have a clean, unrestricted driver’s license
Must have favorable background check and drug test
