Floor Manager

INDO Restaurant & Lounge is a high volume full service restaurant and bar open daily for lunch and dinner serving Modern Indonesian cuisine. We are currently seeking a Floor Manager. The Floor Manager will report to the General Manager and together will be responsible of overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. Must be able and willing to regularly work 40+ hours per week with the possibility of overtime.

The Floor Manager will:

  • act as liaison between front-line employees and the General Manager,
  • work in tandem with team members and provide training and correction as necessary
  • respond to and resolve customer complaints and comments as needed
  • perform administrative functions such as bi-weekly payroll reporting and requirements, onboarding new hires, documentation of employee incidences/issues, etc.

  • ServSafe certification and strong knowledge of local, state and federal food sanitation regulations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Leadership and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and procedures
  • Demonstrated customer and personal service skills
  • 2 + years of recent Restaurant/Bar management experience in a high volume full service restaurant and bar
  • Experience using POS systems like Micros/ Square
  • Standing up to 8 hours a day
  • Lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds
  • Good computer and administrative skills and proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • An associate degree or college education in restaurant and hospitality management or institutional food service management is a plus

What we offer:

  • Compensation: $25-30 per hour
  • $100 per month cell phone reimbursement (After 60 days)
