Join our Intel Fab Construction Enterprise (FCE) who builds the world's largest semiconductor manufacturing factories across the globe!

As part of FCE's Digital Transformation initiative, the organization is transitioning to cloud-based systems and technologies which require a completely different set of skills for a wide array of datasets to enable end-to-end analytics for delivering fab construction cost, schedule, and predictability improvements. The information systems and analytics team require qualified individual(s) with deep data, business intelligence, and analytics experience in the Microsoft stack to implement solutions for construction-related projects, including developing new capabilities using Azure services.

Business Intelligence & Data Engineers compile and translate data into information and enable business strategies, improve operations, or otherwise unlock business value. They are responsible for architecture design and implementation of a data product line, developing the overall business, data, and visualizations.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Technical leadership for end-to-end data and analytics projects within FCE.
Influences technical direction for solutions related to our Digital Transformation strategy. Sets and refines objectives for developing capabilities to rapidly implement against digital transformation needs.
Assigns and oversees overall project tasks implementing data and analytics in support of program goals. Ensures appropriate progress against plans and schedules.
Develops and implements data quality standards as part of FCE's data pipeline architecture.
Manages interdependencies and integration among multiple technical projects and teams, including stakeholder collaboration and management to define and transform current data processes across our FCE business domains.
Create and maintain optimal, scalable data pipeline architecture, including building out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.
Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and Azure Cloud (Azure) technologies.
Build data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that utilize the data pipeline for building and optimizing our solutions to deliver construction analytics.
Work with the business stakeholders to identify data and visualization needs to model, frame business scenarios, and implement solutions that are meaningful and which impact critical business processes and/or decisions.
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
Work with stakeholders including analytics and business teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

**There will be no relocation assistance provided for this role**

** Length of the contract: Up to 36 months**

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Systems Engineering (or closely related field) or Equivalent Technical Certifications in Computer Science, Data Science, Systems Engineering (or closely related field).

6+ years of experience in:
1. SQL Server/Relational Databases, SQL Server Analysis Services - Tabular, ETL (Extract-Transform-Load), Data Warehousing methodologies and techniques, Power BI/Power Platform.
2. Implementing Azure Cloud services.

Preferred Qualifications:
No-SQL development, Azure cloud-based services, including Azure Data Factory, SSIS integration, Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse/Synapse. Microsoft software development stack (.NET, C#, SQL, etc.)
