Full Job Description
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university;
Minimum of three (3) years successful experience in coaching, preferred;
Valid Texas teacher's certificate;
Strong computer and technology skills including the use of databases and Microsoft Excel; and
Strong management, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Probationary/Term Contract: 250 days
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2019-20.
Responsible for the collection and analysis of data related to athletic participation and results with a focus on districtwide improvement of athletic performance. Responsible for the completion of all UIL required participation reports.
Assist the district webmaster and associate athletic director secretary in charge of special projects to maintain and constantly improve the CFISD athletic website.
Work with the central athletic staff, CFISD communications department and the campuses to maximize the effectiveness of all social media platforms related to district and campus athletic programs.
Assist district athletic director with the formation and formatting of all district athletic schedules.
Coordinate and lead the process of collecting and analyzing athletic academic performance data.
Assist associate athletic director with all processes related to coaches' stipends.
Assist with the preparation and organization of all district athletic staff development meetings and events. Work with curriculum department and coaching staffs to ensure that all coaches attend required staff development courses and that curriculum department is aware of all CFISD coaching responsibilities that might conflict with assigned staff development.
Work with athletic staff to coordinate and monitor all Rank One processes including scheduling, rostering and athletic performance results.
Assist associate athletic director with the ordering and organization of all awards related to athletic participation (trophies, plaques, medals, ribbons). Work with associate athletic director secretary in charge of special projects in regard to quality control processes related to awards.
Coordinate the organization and preparation for the hosting of all CFISD regular season/playoff events and district athletic meetings.
Coordinate quality control processes designed to monitor district expectations related to UIL and CFISD eligibility, inventory control and safety. This will include the regular review of UIL compliance folders and processes.
Assist associate athletic directors and finance coordinator with all purchasing processes with a special emphasis on coordinating all middle school athletic purchasing processes.
Assist with the revision and yearly update of the CFISD athletic handbook.
Coordinate the compilation and recognition of all championship teams and programs at the HS/MS levels.
Provide quality customer service to employees, departments and guests of the athletics and aquatics departments for the benefit of our student-athletes.
Attend and supervise athletic events as assigned.
Provide input on office and program policies and procedures.
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
