AmerCareRoyal is seeking to hire a Sales Director. This position will have national and regional account responsibilities managing a geographically dispersed sales team along with a sales support team that is located in Charleston, SC.

The Sales Director (SD) will report directly to the VP of Sales located in Exton PA. The SD is responsible for the supervision and leadership of all US sales professionals, sales and revenue performance, business knowledge of our key markets and key accounts, driving initiatives around customer service and sales support and addressing trends within the marketplace. Current business volume for this role is approximately $125,000,000 with 7 reps and 2 support staff.


Provide inspirational leadership and strategic direction to field sales professional to exceed your sales and performance objectives.

Responsible for supervising operations of the team including: hiring, coaching, professional development, performance management, resource utilization, administration, and the assignment of key "priority" accounts.

Develops and implements territory plans that properly identify and prioritize activities to accomplish short and long-term business plan goals.

Support the national brand plan and corporate strategies in partnership with our VP of Sales.

Establish and maintain effective communication among all members of the national sales team.

Works in the field with all members of the team to coach and counsel on improvement of selling skills, product knowledge, business landscape, and capabilities needed for successful sales growth

P&L responsibilities; develops and implements regional business plans, manages operational budget at the regional levels.

Interaction and partnership with brand marketing team and appropriate interactions with the VP of Sales to ensure alignment on strategic opportunities and overall sales performance

Collaborates and communicates with internal customers on account strategy, plans, and execution.

Skills & Requirements

BA/BS Degree required. MBA or advanced degree in a related field preferred.

Prior experience in a highly competitive sales environment

Previous marketing/sales experience preferred with at least three to five years spent in a position with demonstrated leadership across peer and customer groups.

Track record of proven sales success to include national awards, finishing in top 10%, etc..

Demonstrate leadership capabilities, financial management, as well as written and oral communication skills

Proven ability to develop and motivate others, lead through change, and deliver on business imperatives is critical to be successful in this role.

This position will require 50% or more travel to develop internal and external relationships.

A valid driver’s license and safe driving record, as well as proximity to a major airport hub is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $125,000.00 to $175,000.00 /year
