Our Accounting department is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Staff Accountant II. The position is responsible for assisting the Accounting department in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization.

Essential Functions

  • Examine accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to standards defined within the department.
  • Report to the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) the finances of the organization.
  • Review records of accounts and input entries into proper accounts.
  • Develop and implement proper keeping of financial records, making use of current technologies.
  • Create forms and manuals for accounting personnel.
  • Preform other administrative tasks requested by the CAO or CFO.

Supervisory Responsibility

The Staff Accountant II role has limited supervisory responsibility as assigned by CAO, but will serve as a coach and mentor for those in the Staff Accountant I role.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • Two to five years of accounting experience.

Salary: $35,000.00 to $45,000.00 /year
