Under the direction of the CNO, the Clinical Director of Nursing Education is responsible for leading the nursing education department through the implementation of educational strategies, training staff, and developing educational programs for all regional hospitals. The Nursing Director of Education should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be comfortable directing educators across multiple units. The Clinical Director of Nursing Education will be responsible for overseeing department budgets, scheduling, operational work-flow, as well as the hiring, firing, education, and evaluations of the Nurse Educators. The ideal Clinical Director of Nursing Education possesses at least one year of Senior Leadership experience in a hospital setting, and a minimum of 5 years experience developing, designing, coordinating training for education programs. This position requires a BSN for this role, with a strong preference for your MSN or DNP.
