To coordinate activities at the site of responsibility, including technology, production, quality control, distribution, warehousing, and customer service. Responsible for efficiency, conversion costs and productivity of the site(s). Other duties may be assigned

Responsibilities:
Coordinates technology, production, quality control, distribution, warehousing, and customer serviceactivities within established procedures

Responsible for Quality Improvement efforts including internal and customer complaint driven corrective action

Reviews production costs, and modifies accordingly to maintain and enhance profitable operation of the site

Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees

Ensure participation and cooperation in company implemented ESHA programs. Follow all company safety rules

Prepares and presents site metrics at site and BU meetings

Prepares and presents quality improvement progress, production and sample data at site and BU meetings

Recommends capital equipment and budgets to divisional management

Is responsible for people development, e.g. evaluation, coaching, talent identification, promotion.

Implements performance management tools according to corporate guidelines.

Ultimately accountable for compliance with all environmental, safety, health and security laws, regulations, policies, procedures, etc. that are applicable to the operation of the site.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Chemistry or other related field

Business experience:
Plastics processing knowledge

3-5 years previous management experience

5-7 years of production experience or equivalent

SAP experience preferred.
