Leadership Development Consultant
The Leadership Development Consultant supports execution of talent management and training programs (as established by the Talent Development and Training and Development strategic plans), builds and maintains key relationships internally, and generates awareness of talent and training offerings in order to enhance stakeholder collaboration. This position works closely with the Training and Development Facilitator and the Training and Development Manager in executing established instructor led (or other format) training, and assisting with the needs analysis and development of new programs and learning solutions.
Detailed Description

Professionally and effectively facilitates Niagara training programs, establishing credibility and a positive classroom environment. This role primarily focuses on facilitation of leadership training programs, but also may include facilitation of training for business software, business processes, compliance programs, etc.
Facilitates training programs using a variety of instructional techniques, such as group discussions, role-playing, team exercises, etc.
Draws on personal leadership experience and stories from other leaders to spark participant discussion
As needed, assists with the development of training content (Power Point documents, facilitator guides, case studies, participant guides, etc.),
Leads train-the-trainer sessions, when part of defined training program rollout or sustainability strategies:
Leads training sessions to improve facilitation skills of plant manufacturing staff (field HR leaders, technical SMEs, etc.)
When applicable, provides instruction to co-facilitators and/or plant manufacturing staff on how to facilitate program content, to allow those programs to be scalable and taught locally
Assists with learning needs assessments, using processes and standards established by the Training and Development function:
Uses internal customer feedback as well as data driven insights to assist with the assessment of behavioral and performance gaps
Assists with data gathering, including turnover projections, current critical role bench strength, etc.
Partners with Training and Development Manager to provide and/or execute recommended learning solutions
As needed, assists with education about the Niagara 360° survey process, and delivers 360° coaching sessions to training program participants
Builds and maintains relationships with internal clients and educates them on existing offerings, tools, etc.
Required 50% travel

Work Experience/KSA’s

5-7 years of experience in Training and Development, Human Resources, or related field
5-7 years of experience facilitating leadership/personal development curriculum
3-5 years of experience managing a team
3-5 years working in an operations capacity in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • experience may include a combination of work experience and education
7-10 years of experience in Training and Development, Human Resources, or related field
7-10 years of experience facilitating leadership/personal development curriculum
5-7 years of experience managing a team
  • experience may include a combination of work experience and education

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to facilitate leadership training programs
Ability to establish credibility when instructing front line staff and senior leadership
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Advanced knowledge of Niagara manufacturing plant operations
Excellent coaching/mentorship skills
Outstanding ability to build and maintain relationships

Minimum Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources or related discipline

Master's Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources or related discipline

Required: NA
Preferred: ATD Master Trainer certification
Foreign Language

Required: Full Professional Proficiency, English
Preferred: Native or Bilingual Proficiency, Spanish
