Trinity | ERD, a premier international building envelope consulting firm, is currently seeking an architect or structural engineer licensed in the State of Hawaii with 8+ years of experience. Our work is a mixture of building envelope, waterproofing consulting, existing building evaluations, repairs, and litigation support.

We are a seeking strong, qualified, multi-talented Senior Project Manager who is adept at juggling many complicated projects at once. This is a job for the person who is gifted at managing a small team of project managers and 30+ projects from conception to completion. Our most successful candidates excel at managing their own time independently while working as part of a team, develop project deliverables with little oversight, and maintain professional relationships with co-workers, clients, and contractors.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Project management from conception to completion including proposal preparation, envelope investigation, design, development of construction documents, permitting, bidding, contract development, construction administration, and project close-out
  • Manage personnel and schedules to accommodate a fluid demand of time
  • Prepare intake of initial client contact and maintain client relationships
  • Participate and organize project meetings with building owners, contractors, developers, architects, and consultants
  • Forensic analysis of component system failures and water infiltration of building envelope
  • On site observations to investigate and document existing building envelope conditions and to monitor repairs during construction
  • Ability to compile observation data and research to produce a complete succinct report of investigation - technical writing abilities a must

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

An architectural or structural engineering degree and professional license in the State of Hawaii is required for this position plus a minimum of 8 years of experience. Hawaii residents are preferred. Experience in the building envelope and related construction fields is desirable. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam a must. Travel may be required as our main office is located in Seattle, Washington and our projects located throughout the country may require support from both offices. A valid driver’s license is required and the ability to lift up to 25lbs. Experience in forensic analysis and expert testimony a plus!
