What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum Intern, youll be essential to two teams your respective department and your Intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. Youll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 27 and 28, webinars, community service, cross-functional project, and final presentations.
Internship responsibilities may include
Support program development and execution of technology based webinars, Work as part of a cross-functional team that includes members from other corporate teams such as Government Affairs and Diversity & Inclusion
Create and manage social media content as it relates to CI initiatives, programs, and events, Assisting with the ongoing communications involving non-profit organizations with programs focused on digital education
Develop D&I best practice corporate report overviewing peer company websites, collateral, practices, social media and awards
Build out D&I sections of Companys intranet
Edit raw film footage from previous tapings for future D&I purposesintranet, videos, social media
Build out and organize existing D&I media library (photos and videos)
Enhance D&I statistics catalog
Work with team to build out D&I Speakers bureau
Create background materials on speaking opportunities and panelists, develop messaging platforms
Support in the distribution and follow up of Charter Inclusion Talk invitations and analyze related data
Draft and coordinate Cablefax award submissions
Support in D&I presentation development
Draft and develop materials that articulate Charters partnership with community organizations
Heres what it takes to get started
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a Bachelors Degree or Advanced Degree
Must have at least a 3.5 GPA or greater in current program
Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skill
