Job Description

We are seeking energetic, enthusiastic candidates for our 2020 Summer Internship Program.

BIT Systems Inc., a CACI company. This position is for students interested in obtaining an internship in the area of DSP / Electrical Engineering. The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials and experience in working in a teamwork environment, having not only academic, but also interpersonal skills to help optimize our teams. The single most important attribute is an inquisitive nature and a strong desire to learn real world applications to compliment your academic experience. Familiarity with hardware or software tools should be at a level that is appropriate for your academic level.

We are only able to hire candidates who meet all of the following requirements:

U.S. Citizen
Ability to Obtain a Security Clearance, Background Investigation and Polygraph
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program or higher
No Drug Use

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop a digital signal processing solution to a problem assigned by a mentor.
Work with teammates to learn how to work within the software development environment.
Provide a demonstration of the implemented solution.
Present the implemented solution to a group of peers and mentors.

Desired Qualifications:
Digital hardware experience/education
Analog circuit design experience/education
Power systems design experience/education
Computer architecture experience/education
Signal processing experience/education
Embedded software/firmware experience/education
Hardware/software test development experience/education

Education:
Currently enrolled and actively taking classes towards a Bachelor’s degree (or higher level degree) in the field of Electrical Engineering (preferred), Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
