Midland Health is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to work Full-time 8:00A - 5:00P, Monday - Friday.
Here is what you will do
Your responsibilities and the primary functions of a Foundation Administrative Assistant will be to provide support for the Midland Memorial Foundation Executive Director regarding organization, time management, reporting and communication. As the department administrative support this position you will assist the foundation in processing all incoming donations and appropriate correspondence to donors and acknowledgements for memorials and honorariums. You will collect daily reports, mail and newspapers and order flowers as needed. You must have excellent writing skills and be able to research topics and compose articles as needed for MMF quarterly newsletter. You will help create correspondence for multidisciplinary functions, process all incoming donations and appropriate correspondence to donors and acknowledgements for memorials and honorariums. You will help facilitate the selection of MMF scholarship recipients, monitor compliance with scholarship guidelines, and process payments to schools of higher learning, and/or reimbursement to students, as needed. Partner with Human Resources for tracking and coordination of the tuition reimbursement and scholarship awards.
Knowledge and what you will bring:
- Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
- Two or more years' administrative assistant experience preferably supporting Director level staff.
- Prior experience in fundraising or development work is preferred. Microsoft Office Suite experience in Word, Excel & Power Point is required.
