The goal of this position is to provide efficiency and accuracy at the “front gate” of the operations. The position ensures that all items coming into the organization are handled and received correctly as well as guaranteeing every item that leaves is distributed accurately and efficiently to ensure the overall satisfaction of our customers.
Receiving packages quickly as they arrive and performing inspections to ensure what has been received does not deviate from Semler records.
Placing items continuously into inventory accurately and efficiently throughout the day to ensure that the organization of the warehouse is maintained.
Packing packages securely and quickly to ensure their safe travel to customers and guaranteeing that they are consistently shipped to the correct locations.
Entering transactional information into the company’s software system in a prompt and accurate manner.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must have the ability to speak, write, and comprehend written and verbal instructions in English.
Must demonstrate basic proficiency with computers, programs, and software.
Must be willing and able to communicate and interact with internal and external parties in a diplomatic and pleasant manner.
Must arrive on time for each work day ready and prepared to perform expected tasks.
Must have the ability and drive to maintain a clean and organized work area.
Must have an attention to detail and possess extreme accuracy skills.
Experience and comfortability with hand and power tools is a plus. The right person can be trained if necessary.
This position requires repetitive lifting, occasional pushing and pulling of objects, prolonged standing, frequent bending and twisting, and ladder climbing.
Must be able to safely operate a forklift and order picker.
Must be able to see and hear well enough to prevent safety hazards for themselves and others.
