OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:
Responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of HealthCare Informatics reporting infrastructure. We are seeking business intelligence developer who can implement ETL solutions with various types of challenging data. Candidates must have an advanced knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS, T-SQL, and data modeling experience. Candidates must have strong communication skills that allow you to regularly deal with the business and technical teams. Candidates must have outstanding analytical and problem solving skills and a good grasp of the technical side of business intelligence and always keep up to date with the latest BI tools and technologies.

Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboard requirement.
Translate business requirements into specification that will be used to implement required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data source
Translate requirements from the business and analyst into technical code
Design, build and deploy effective SSIS packages
Design and implement BI reporting applications.
Design, implement, and support a platform providing ad-hoc access to large datasets
Implement stored procedures and effectively query a database
Identify and test for bugs and bottlenecks in the ETL solution
Ensure the best possible performance and quality in the packages
Provide support and fix issues in the packages
Documents data systems, processes, and technical Meta data.
Debugging, and troubleshooting BI solutions
Uses, protects, and discloses HCP patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
Provide training and assistance to users for adhoc analysis/adhoc request/ adhoc report
Identifies critical areas of the data structure and recommends improvements to existing reports and reporting processes.
Use data mining, model building, other analytical techniques to develop and maintain customer segmentation and predictive models to drive the business

Must be able to perform duties with low supervision
BA/BS in computer Science. Equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered.
9+ years’ ETL experience developing and implementing enterprise data structure for reporting and dashboards, including:
Experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehouse enterprise platforms required
Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional)
High proficiency writing SQL
3+ years’ experience developing and implementing enterprise-scale reports and dashboards, including:
Successfully implementing or migrating a large enterprise BI solutions/platform/architecture (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Tableau)
Performance tuning experience related to reporting queries required.
Strong database understanding and familiarity with complex data and structures.
Required strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities.
Healthcare industry experience within managed care and/or medical group operations environment.
Dimensional Modeling knowledge
Programming experience such as PLSQL or T-SQL
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Proficient with cube-based spreadsheet or database development.
Strong Microsoft Business Intelligence Solution.
Strong reporting skills and report design experience, using reporting applications such as Microsoft Reporting Services.
Understanding the concept of relational databases and data warehousing.
