Title: Senior Digital Marketing Manager
Location: New York City
J.Crew Factory is looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager who will oversee the E-commerce business and the Digital Marketing strategy and execution across all channels for the J.Crew Factory brand. Working within a dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative culture, this person will be driven by business metrics, especially ROI, to deliver traffic, revenue, and new customers to J Crew Factory. The position reports into the Marketing, Vice-President of Retail and E-Commerce.
Working closely with external agencies and cross functional team members, s/he will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of digital marketing channels, including SEO, Paid Search, Email, Affiliate, Display, Retargeting and Social Media. This position requires the ability to operate on both strategic and tactical levels, translating vision to execution. The right candidate will have expertise in email and performance marketing, preferably in an eCommerce and mobile focused environment, a track record of leveraging changes in technology and consumer behavior, as well as a passion for the J Crew brand.

Manage E-Commerce Performance: Drive demand growth through digital marketing and acquisition campaigns and partnering with design and customer experience team on website enhancements and mobile expansion.
Maintain Constant Level of Optimization:Constantly seek optimization and growth through performance analysis, A/B and multivariate testing, customer segmentation, creative partnership, landing page optimization and more.
Oversee Digital Marketing Channels:Drive customer traffic, conversion and ROI for all digital channels, including paid search, natural search/SEO, affiliate, remarketing, display, email and social media.
Manage Digital Agency Partners:Supervise external agency relationship for digital channels, review agency reports and run internal reports to monitor performance and seek improvement opportunities.
Oversee Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting:Manage annual budgeting process, as well as monthly/weekly/daily forecasting and reporting at channel level for traffic, revenue, spend, ROI and other performance KPIs. Quantitative and data driven business recommendations
Support Omnichannel & CRM Strategies:Support digital strategies to drive omni-channel brand growth through geo-targeting to boost store traffic, cross-channel purchasing and email acquisition. Liaise with the customer loyalty team to build relevant programs and offers into JC Factory marketing campaigns and to grow its top customer base.
Drive Digital Innovation & Shift to Mobile:Serve as internal digital marketing thought leader; helping to identify digital marketing trends, new technologies, evolving best practices, competitor activity, and testing opportunities that help drive the business.
Development and Training:Manage, train and develop strong digital marketing capability for 2 marketing associates.
6-8+ years expertise in digital and performance marketing , preferably eCommerce or retail, with a proven track record in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth
Strongly KPI oriented: acquisition, conversion, ROI
Exceptional understanding of all aspects of digital marketing and analytics, especially paid search, natural search, affiliate, display, retargeting, email and social
Key understanding of Google, Facebook and Digital Agency relationships is required.
Experience with and knowledge of mobile marketing and mobile trends
Experience managing agency relationships daily, briefing and service level management.
Experience developing and executing robust marketing partnerships to drive acquisition
Strong proficiency in digital trends and best practices
Strong business acumen with ability to think strategically and innovatively
Robust quantitative skills including forecasting ability and ROI analyses – demonstrated ability to apply logical thought process to problem solving and deliver recommendations
Proactive, collaborative, organized, curious, problem solver and agility to operate in a rapid business environment
Excellent presentation, project management, and communication skills
Strong follow through and detail orientation a must.
Proficient MS office user, especially Excel v-lookup, macros, etc.
Strong proficiency in Omniture, Google Analytics and other web metric systems
Bachelor’s degree required – MBA is a plus
Experience in fashion or retail industry is a plus
