Responsible for developing and enhancing credit management strategies and/or loss forecasts for Home Equity Loans. Utilizes experience in Mortgage/HELOC/Home Equity Loans experiences along with customer level information and predictive models to maximize profits, while using efficient trade-offs among key business metrics such as credit losses, receivables, and profit. Drives the identification, design, and implementation of statistical and business analyses in support of business strategy and loss forecasting activities

Major Responsibilities:
Leads the development of credit strategies, underwriting procedures &/or loss forecasts while demonstrating strong thought and results leadership to drive business results.

Ensures strategies are customized to the regulatory/compliance considerations for Home Equity Product as well as amicable to the operationally intensive nature of underwriting Home Equity Loans. Strategies should also perform as intended through continuous monitoring and respond to unexpected results in an expedited manner.

Fully understands end to end processes applicable to area of work including operational,
modeling, data and infrastructure capabilities

Encourages culture of continuous improvement and test and learn mentality.

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Sciences, Business, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field
4+ years of experience in Analytics, Consulting, Financial Services, or related field
In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Analytics, Consulting, Financial Services, or related field
