Job Title: Production Lead
Job Summary:
Serve as Manufacturing Team Lead for a group of Production associate’s in dental Stone. Considered a “Working Lead”, this role is responsible for work assignments that support an effective lean operation conforming to standardized work procedures, identifying improvement opportunities and working with associates and management to solve operational problems. General duties may include picking, compounding, mixing and packaging.
Essential Duties:
- Perform daily safety and quality engagement discussions
- Hourly boards (Daily targets)
- SAP knowledgeable
- Close out PI Sheets
- Check material consumption on PI Sheets
- Assign material warehouse tasks for all rooms
- Prioritize daily schedule expectations
- Maintain 5s scores in all rooms
- Be able to present in a team setting (Tier 1 & Tier 2)
- In the absence of supervisor lead must take on supervisor responsibility
- Be able to provide daily updates on current production status
- Be able to perform good documentation practices (GDP)
- Verify daily equipment logs
- Team morale
- Overtime required
- Expect to be on your feet majority of the day

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of Production experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with Production Supervisors and Manager.
- Self-motivation with a results-driven approach
- Focus for safety, quality and customer satisfaction
- Lean manufacturing experience (Kaizen, Kanban, root cause analysis, countermeasure implementation, etc.)
- Requires the ability to use a personal computer and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
