We have an office team located in Santa Monica and the warehouse is located in Ontario, California. This position is for our Ontario location.
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Fulfillment Shift Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the fulfillment team during their assigned shift. This includes managing staff, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining inventory accuracy, and achieving productivity and quality targets. The Shift Lead will ensure the team follows safety regulations and company procedures while providing excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Shift Supervision: Lead and manage fulfillment associates during the assigned shift, ensuring that daily tasks and responsibilities are completed effectively and on time.
- Order Fulfillment: Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders, ensuring that all orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Forklift Operations: Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures during forklift operation.
- Team Management: Provide leadership, coaching, and support to the fulfillment team. Conduct training for new hires and ongoing development for existing staff.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report shift performance metrics, including productivity, accuracy, and safety. Provide feedback to staff to maintain and improve performance levels.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that the team follows all safety guidelines, including proper use of equipment, adherence to safety protocols, and reporting any safety concerns.
- Inventory Control: Assist in managing inventory, including stock replenishment, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy during the fulfillment process.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks in the workflow, escalating more complex issues to the Warehouse Manager when necessary.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve workflow and efficiency within the fulfillment process and implement best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other shift leads, managers, and departments to ensure smooth handover and coordination across shifts.

Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with hands-on experience in receiving and replenishment.
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Forklift Experience: Certified forklift operator with practical experience in operating forklifts.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and operate warehouse equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
