Your role at Baxter:
4:00am - 2:30pm Tuesday - Friday
Checking inventory accuracy and investigating variances in cycle counts in various bulk (floor level) and Rack (up to 5th level) locations and make adjustments to correct inventory. Must have a basic understanding of operations to follow product flows and picking patterns.

What you'll be doing:
As the Inventory Control Specialist at Baxter Healthcare Corporation, you will have an outstanding opportunity to play a crucial role in maintaining flawless inventory accuracy. Your main responsibility will be to investigate variances in cycle counts in various bulk and rack locations, making adjustments to ensure inventory correctness. With a basic understanding of operations, you will follow product flows and picking patterns to determine the most efficient corrective measures.

Reconcile discrepancies in inventories to maintain outstanding accuracy.

Provide comprehensive training to other company personnel on the Inventory Process.

Achieve performance targets established by management while ensuring product integrity remains intact.

Conduct daily cycle counts in various locations throughout the warehouse.

Use PC or RF terminal to access Warehouse Management System (WMS) and JDE systems.

Monitor warehouse utilization to optimize space efficiency.
-
Verify orders shipped through carriers like UPS and FedEx.
-
Demonstrate flexibility by working overtime as vital.
-
Control and coordinate Field Corrective actions and local holds in WMS when needed.

Collaborate with the Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance (RAQA) team to validate systems and system changes.

Conduct audits of daily exception reports.

Ensure strict compliance with all procedures related to Regulatory, Environmental, Health, and Safety Requirements, including spills, damages, and returns.

Efficiently transport materials by operating various types of Material Handling equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, forklifts, clamp trucks, and cherry pickers.

Process and stage damaged product in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices to uphold world-class quality standards.

General understanding of material flow and distribution processes to navigate inventory management seamlessly.

Ability to investigate financial transactions to identify and rectify inventory discrepancies.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel to effectively analyze and organize data.

Strong numerical skills, including the ability to perform basic calculations, count accurately, and use calculators when necessary.

Excellent attention to detail to ensure flawless inventory accuracy.

Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate with product vendor locations and other team members.

Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Willingness to work overtime as necessary to complete important tasks.

High School Degree or GED.

1-2 years of experience in warehouse distribution and order fulfillment.
